The Beauty of Beginning

I've taken some of Lisa Congdon's excellent classes over on CreativeBug and was meaning to get around to a drawing challenge like she suggests. Seriously - I was meant to do it. I even started a couple times and then pooped out on the third or fourth day. "What should I draw? How long should it be?" I wondered.  Lisa Congdon is so hard-core and did a whole year challenge....I don't feel very hard core most days (I like the idea of hard-core but have never been so good with the output.)

So here we are again. I'm embracing the beauty of Day Ones and Beginnings. I really hope I'm still here talking into the internet abyss by day 31 because art is important to me. It's been important for as long as I can remember, back when all I wanted to draw were houses in the snow and unicorns. I've taken one hell of a meandering route back to it, dabbling and practicing all the while, but never with consistency and focus. Wish me luck!
